How long do I have to wait to file for poker tax refund?

You will have to apply for casino tax rebates within the following year of playing. You will have three (3) years to file for poker tax refund and refund on other taxable games.

Does the IRS allow me to offset my gambling losses ?

No, only taxable games are part of the list of games accepted by the IRS.

What are the documents that will need to get poker tax recovery?

If you have poker rebate to claim then the 1042 S IRS form is essential. This needs to be submitted with original or certified copies of your identification. You can only submit certified copies from a U.S. notary or the U.S. embassy in your country. You may also choose to use your birth certificate and citizenship card if you choose to do so. A recognized driver’s license can also be submitted. All documents must be current and not nearing their expiration date when you submit them.

If you do not have an ITIN number, then it will be necessary to submit a Form W-7 along with the relevant documentation to get one. We can assist you with getting the ITIN.

Are there a lot of steps involved in getting poker tax rebate?
